Boom Beach Strategy

Boom Beach is the newest military strategy game released by Super Cells, the same folks who gave us the ever popular Clash of Clans. Boom Beach was released last year in Apple Apps Stores, giving IOS users way more time to establish their bases and strategies. It was only June this year that Boom Beach was made available for Android run devices.

As a military strategy game, the game requires you to “think and act” like a true general, capable of planning out attacks on your enemies and protecting your bases against them. That being said, there are only two main strategies that you need to consider: your defense and your offense.
Defensive Strategy

Having a defensive strategy in place ensures that your island doesn’t succumb to the enemy forces should they choose to attack you. With a strong defense, you can go on attacking other islands and bases without ever worrying about your own.

One trick to having a good defensive strategy is knowing the different strengths of all your defense structures. For instance, Sniper Towers are great for shooting down tanks, heavy artillery and warriors whereas rocket launchers work best against riflemen and zookas. There are more than five defense structures and learning about their strengths and weaknesses will help you plan where you should put them.

Your headquarters is the single most important building in your base, and when it goes down, so does your entire base. Finding the right place for your headquarters is often challenging, but there are certain types of base designs that will help you pick the right spot for your HQ. For instance, you can apply the Dock Base Strategy (great for beginners) where you build your base beside the docks and thus limit the entry of attackers to two directions only, thus saving your base from flank attacks.

Another design is the Beach Base, which provides you with a very strong front defense (thanks to the mines and rocket launcher and boom cannon spread) that prevents rush attacks to your HQ more difficult.

Offensive Strategy

Offensive strategy depends on the kind of unit that you are using to attack the enemy. There are different attack positions that you can use, like HQ Rush Attacks where you can get your warriors (they have high damage, so don’t try this with weaker armies) to pass all the enemy’s defenses by covering them up with smoke screens and get them to attack the HQ fast. This is the fastest way to win the battle. Another attack strategy is Meatshielding, where you line your front attack line with high-health units (e.g. heavies) and put high damage units (e.g. zookas) behind them. This ensures that the zookas are protected and able to survive longer so they can do more damage.

Another important component of your attack strategy is your gunboat, as this is helpful in supporting your troops. The gunboat has many special abilities that will support and aid your troop in the attack. You have the shock bomb and the smoke screen, as well as other special abilities like flares and medkits. In addition, you can also choose between using the gunboat to attack first before deploying your troops (if your army consists of low-health units) or deploy first and use the gunboat as support (if your army consists of high-health units – remember the "boom beach free diamonds").

Put Your Plans into Action

Now that you have a basic idea of what it takes to make a great defense and offense strategy is made of, it’s time to put them all into action. As you go along with the game, you will learn more strategies from your mistakes and from your enemies, all of which will help you become a better gamer. Remember, a good Boom Beach strategy is the key to winning this game, so think before you act.

So if all of this seems frightening (and it is) here’s what you can do, in order to make sure that you will still have your health after all of this:

Do this for a week, it should give you a clear view of things. But if you really want to lose weight quickly, you must do even more than that. You must write the caloric value of everything you eat.
If you can’t find it on the packaging, look for it on the internet. It is said that if you multiply your ideal weight by ten, the resulting number should be your daily calorie intake, but that is not always the case and you may have to change those numbers as you go along.
